Phil & Peggy Phipps started their horse hobby both as youngsters but became involved more in 1994 with the purchase of their first stallion Targa. Targa is now owned by Joe & Terri Mock from Kamrar, Iowa. From there it grew to keeping a foal that they raised to be their second stallion, Justa Nasty Habit. Both of these are APHA stallions.
They then expanded to Quarter horses in 1999 when they became owners of Zippo Scotty, an AQHA stallion. In May of 2004 they began standing Hints Classic Style, an AQHA stallion owned by Kenneth Moore of Mason City. In September of 2007 they bought Hints Classic Style and now own him. Hints Classic Style has since passed on to Horse Heaven but they still have frozen semen available.
They also purchased in fall of 2005 a 2005 black AQHA son of Kidlook, Hint of Kidlook who will be standing to the public in 2008.
Phil & Peggy now stand three boys and raise and sell the get from them.
The Phipps reside in the small town of Stanhope, Iowa.
